Assault at St Ninians

Police are appealing for witnesses after a young man was assaulted in the grounds of St Ninian's High School.

He needed hospital treatment for injuries received in the incident which took place at around 7.20pm last night (Tues) near to Somerset road entrance.

It is believed there were a number of people in the area at the time, and football training was taking place within the grounds.

Two teenage boys intervened at the time of the assault, and police are urging them to come forward.
