Criticism of Channel Four documentary

by isleofman.com 12th March 2007
Don’t give up caring for the environment, no matter what Channel Four says – that’s the message from the Island’s One World Centre.

Last week, a TV documentary claimed global warming was due to sunspots and CO2 emissions didn’t make any difference to climate.

But Cheryl Cousins (pictured) of the One World Centre in Peel says people should still recycle and practice energy efficiency even if the claims were true.

Much of the evidence aired is being dismissed by experts, but Cheryl says even if climate change wasn’t happening, there are still good reasons to cut our dependency on fossil fuels.
