Langness peace deal?

A compromise looks set to be struck between ramblers who walk on the Langness Peninusula - and its famous resident Jeremy Clarkson.

The TV presenter has come under fire from walking groups - after he fenced-off a section of his land, to increase his family's privacy.

A route along that land has long been used by walkers - but is not an official public right of way.

Its emerged Mr Clarkson brought together local MHKs and Department of Transport officials for lunch at his home last Friday - to try and find a solution acceptable to all.

Malew and Santon MHK Graham Cregeen was among the guests.

He's encouraged at such a positive move - but understands Mr Clarkson's concerns:
