Helmet question for Keys

With sailings to the Isle of Man brim-full for this year's TT, many riders are travelling by air this year - and borrowing or hiring bikes when they arrive.

But there's concern they may not be able to carry their helmets in the aircraft cabin - as they are just too big to be classed as hand baggage.

Rushen MHK Juan Watterson wants the Transport Minister to ensure the rules are changed so the expensive head-gear can be carried onto the plane by their owner.

He'll raise the issue in the Keys tomorrow (Tuesday).

Mr Watterson says it's a one-off event - and the needs of our visitors should be met:
