Royal British Legion appeal for final target

by isleofman.com 10th March 2007
A plea’s being made to the Manx public to help the Island preserve its proud record in the Royal British Legion poppy appeal.

The Island’s enjoyed tremendous success for nearly three decades in raising more money, through the sales of poppies per head of population, than any other county in the British Isles.

However, with a few months remaining, the Island is behind its target.

Isle of Man county publicity officer, Major Charles Wilson, is urging one final push (audio file attached):

Donations can be made by contacting Charles on 629589 or poppy co-ordinator Audrey Brown on 852567.
