Roadwatch goes on-line

by isleofman.com 10th March 2007
Island motorists can get a helping hand via the net from next week.

A one-stop information centre on roadworks and road closures goes live on Monday when the Roadwatch website is launched.

It will show not only the Department of Transport’s closures but also roadworks being carried out by the Island’s utility companies.

The website includes feeds which provide updates to your computer whenever the website is updated.

Director of Highways Bruce Hannay says it’s a real partnership between the public and private sectors.
