Travel ID cards

by isleofman.com 9th March 2007
Travelling to and from the UK could soon prove a lot more difficult if ID cards are introduced there.

South Douglas MHK Bill Malarkey says ports and airports will have two lanes – for those with and without the cards.

And if the Island doesn’t join the UK’s scheme or introduce its own, that could lead to Island residents facing delays.

In the House of Keys next week, he’ll seek reassurances from Chief Minister Tony Brown.

Mr Malarkey says his concerns are growing.
