Young people in care 'discriminated against'

Discriminatory and inaccurate.

That’s how some of the comments made about young people in care during two public meetings last week have been described.

St Christopher’s Fellowship’s’ plans for a care home in Surby have sparked concerns from some local residents.

However, the director of operations for the child care provider, Ron Giddens, says much of the criticism levelled was unacceptable and that the young people were hurt by what they heard:
