Friends and Heroes in Ramsey

by isleofman.com 7th March 2007
An animated children's television series put together by an Isle of Man company will be shown on the BBC next Monday.

Friends and Heroes combines 2D and 3D animation to follow a story set in the first century AD, which makes reference to stories from the Old and New Testament.

David and Alison Dorricott of Friends and Heroes Limited, based at Lough House in Ramsey, are executive producers of the series to be shown on CBBC.

Mr Dorricott says although the series has a religious theme, it's aimed at children whether they have faith or not:

For more information about the series go to www.friendsandheroes.com, or there's a website for children being launched next Monday www.friendsandheroes.tv
