Noble's Hospital costs revealed

The total cost of heating and lighting Noble's Hospital in the last year was ?1,125,000.

The amount was revealed in a written reply from Health and Social Security Minister, Eddie Teare, to North Douglas MHK, Bill Henderson.

Mr Henderson wanted to know the annual costs for every year since the new Noble's was opened in 2003.

The latest figure runs from the 1st of April 2006 to the 5th of February 2007, which puts it on course to match 2005/2006's amount of ?1,230,000.
