Meeting tonight on new care home

by isleofman.com 1st March 2007
Rushen MHK Phil Gawne says information flow about a proposed new children's care home in his constituency has been poor.

Mr Gawne and fellow MHK, Quintin Gill, have organised a further public meeting to discuss plans for Ardbraccan House in Surby for this evening.

He says he only spoke to care provider, St Christophers, after the first meeting last week.

Mr Gawne says the fact MHK's weren't able to explain the situation, may make it more difficult for the Department of Health and Social Security to win the community over:

The meeting is at Ballafesson Methodist Hall from 7pm. Health and Social Security Minister, Eddie Teare, will be there to answer questions.
