Summerland still a problem for Minister

The development of the Summerland site is being held up by concerns over the stability of the surrounding cliff, according to the Tourism Minister.

Adrian Earnshaw says he's as 'anxious as anyone' that progress is made soon and says there are many options for the site.

Demolition began on the site in October 2005. Plans were taken to Tynwald for an hotel and ice rink, but the potential development fell through.

Mr Earnshaw says engineering work may be necessary:
