Minister refuses to answer Keys questions

There was a surprise ending to Keys Questions today.

Transport Minister David Anderson refused to answer the last three questions on the Question paper on the basis that it was not in the public interests to do so.

The three lengthy multiple part questions from Onchan MHK Peter Karran regarded various aspects of the airport runway extension plans, and statements made about them.

The Minister had to explain in writing to the Speaker of the House Steve Rodan his reasons for declining, as Mr Rodan explained:
