Have your say on government

by isleofman.com 25th February 2007
Next Wednesday (February 28) is the final day for the public to have its say on government openness.

The consultation exercise was launched in November ahead of a planned law change to guarantee access to government information.

Then Chief Minister Donald Gelling announced plans to examine whether the Island should follow the UK and introduce freedom of information law.

Responses must be submitted to the chief secretary's office, either by email to enquiries.cso@gov.im or by post, with envelopes marked access to government information - public consultation, by the end of Wednesday.
