Smoking debate lingers on

The Bushy's Brewery owner is hoping a compromise can still be reached over smoking in pubs.

Martin Brunnschwieler says there's fear in the trade of a large downturn in business if a blanket ban is introduced.

Legislation prohibiting smoking in public places is due to be brought in on the Island in March next year.

But Mr Brunnschwieler believes an air filtration system is a viable option which would satisfy all parties:
