Police say an 18 year old girl has been asaulted by a man she knew.
They say it happened behind a bus shelter, the number 1 shelter, on Douglas Promenade just before 6pm yesterday evening.( Thursday)
There were minor injuries.
Police are anxious to talk to anyone in the area at the time who may have seen an 'altercation' between the two.
