TT marshal has doubts about consultation

A Deputy Sector Marshal for the TT thinks the government may have left it too late to carry out a public consultation exercise, over the possibility of one way traffic over the Mountain throughout race fortnight this year.

Andy Scullard, who is also well known as a member of the Moddey Dhoo motorcycle club, supports the traffic management idea, which is being considered because of its potential to save lives.

However, he has concerns about possible congestion, with twice the usual number of motorcycles expected to come to the Island, and the problem of getting marshals into position:
