No plans to add fluoride

The Health Minister has been questioned about his department's plans for adding fluoride to the Isle of Man's water supply.

Eddie Teare (pictured left) told the court there were no immediate plans to adopt such a move, but assured members nothing would be done without extensive public consultation.

Onchan MHK, Peter Karran (pictured right) then wanted to know how such a scheme, if it was introduced, would be paid for given there had been a suggestion the cost would be passed onto ratepayers.
