Seven people escaped from their property after fire broke out in the north early this morning.
The blaze was in the roof at the house in Killane, Ballaugh and it was just before 1.30 am when the call was made.
Crews arrived from Kirk Michael, Ramsey and Douglas. Those inside had been alerted by a smoke alarm and fled before the crews arrived.
The property was badly damaged.
