Local man to walk the Sahara

It’s described as the toughest footrace on earth.

The Marathon Des Sables is a six day 243 kilometre endurance race across the Sahara Desert in Morocco.

And Douglas man, Lee Watson, is gearing up to tackle the heat, distance and mental stamina for a third time next month.
