Cattle traceability online

The Department of Agriculture's Cattle Passport Centre has launched an enhanced online service, which enables farmers to save time and cut red tape in complying with strict regulations.

It's like a birth certificate for stock, and ensures traceability - which is more important than ever according to Agriculture Minister Phil Gawne (pictured).

He says Manx beef is best, European is pretty good, but South American beef should perhaps be avoided:
