30 new first time buyers joing Government list every month

by isleofman.com 16th February 2007
Thirty hopeful first time buyers are adding their names to the Government list each month. That is on top of the 700 plus names already on the list.

To try and cope with demand, the Government says it is estimating that a further 440 first time buyer homes should be completed by 2009.

In a newsletter aimed at those taking their first step on the housing ladder, Rushen MHK Juan Watterson (pictured), the member in charge of affordable housing, refers to "an exciting pipeline of new developments, both on Government land and on private developments".
