Nulty remanded on drugs charges

A man charged with drugs offences has appeared before Deemster Doyle at General Jail.

23 year old Peter Nulty, formerly known as Peter Phillip Shaun Penketh, of Brighton Terrace, Douglas, admitted three amended charges of possessing cocaine with intent to supply, producing cocaine and possessing cannabis resin.

All the offences were committed on April 16th 2005

The amended charges were requested by Peter Carle, prosecuting, who informed the court that Nulty had changed his name by deed poll from Penketh.

Nulty was remanded in custody until March 12th.
