MHK suggests solution to TT accommodation

by isleofman.com 10th February 2007
Onchan MHK Peter Karran (pictured centre) could have the answer to the potential TT accommodation problems.

In the House of Keys, he'll ask the Tourism Minister if his department has investigated using schools.

It comes as Adrian Earnshaw (pictured left) calls for more homestay for this year's festival.

Despite the number of homes registered under the Homestay scheme being up 300 per cent on this time last year, more premises are still needed.

Anyone considering offering somewhere to stay is asked to register their property with the Department of Tourism as soon as possible.
