Police to survey public

The Island's Chief Constable says its public satisfaction survey reflects a need to prove the taxpayers money is being spent wisely.

Mike Culverhouse was speaking as Market research company BMG begin surveying randomly selected householders.

They will be asked to rate the performance of the police against the four strategic aims of instilling public confidence, public satisfaction, public reassurance and the protection of young people.
