Workshop questions for Keys

by isleofman.com 9th February 2007
North Douglas MHK, John Houghton, (pictured) wants answers about the Manx Workshop for the Disabled.

In the House of Keys this week he'll ask the Trade and Industry Minister if he has put together a rescue package to save the charity from closure.

If so, he wants to know how much.

Meanwhile in Tynwald later this month he'll call for a committee to investigate why refurbishment of the building has been subject to years of "prevarication and delay" by a number of government departments.

If approved, the committee would report back to the court by May this year.
