Townshend - fond memories of Island

Rock legend Pete Townshend has said he's very much looking forward to playing again in the Isle of Man.

It's been announced his band, 'The Who' will headline at the Peel Bay Festival this summer.

Along with vocalist Roger Daltry, he will be performing on Wednesday 30th May.

Townshend spent time in the Island as a child, when his father's band played here during the summer months.

Speaking at a press conference this afternoon, Townshend told reporters he has very fond memories of the place:
