Survey for DisabledGo

by isleofman.com 8th February 2007
Information on the Isle of Man's DisabledGo Access Guide is under review.

Three disabled people from the Manx Foundation have been trained to carry out surveys, and will be looking round public and private buildings and sites.

It comes a year after the website, which features over 1000 venues, was launched.

The idea is that people can log on, and plan a day or evening out depending on how the destination is rated for access.

DisabledGo Training Manager, Saffron Eames, says the trainees will be writing 'customer journeys' based on their own experiences:

The website is www.disabledgo.info, or it can be accessed via the Isle of Man government website www.gov.im
