Onchan is putting up its district rate by just under 5%.
It will rise from 229 pence to 240 pence in the pound, thats up 11p.
Expenditure this year will include a mezzanine floor at the Refuse Vehicle Garaging Facility at Snugborough, the upgrading of the children's playground at Birch Hill Park,a major refurbishment of the Legion Hall, amenity improvements in Nursery Avenue, and phase one of disabled facilities at the Youth and Community Centre.
