Rewards offered in dog cruelty case
People throughout the Isle of man are uniting in a bid to find those responsible for a severe act of animal cruelty.

A chocolate coloured Labrador died after being thrown down a 30 foot embankment with its nose and legs bound together.

It was found yesterday lunchtime [MON] by Sulby Reservoir.

This morning Tower Insurance announced it would pay ?2,500 for any information leading to a conviction.

That figure is now understood to exceed at least ?3000 with further contributions from companies and anonymous individuals.

Constable Eric Sloan from Ramsey police says those responsible need to be punished.
