Leave your heelys at home
Children in the Isle of Man are being asked to leave the latest fashion craze at home.

Heelys are sports shoes with small wheels built into the soles.

They are causing concern in Britain and Northern Ireland after a spate of injuries.

The most serious involved a 12 year old boy who was hit by a car in southern England earlier this week while wearing a pair of the shoes.

Education Minister, Anne Craine, says she doesn't think Heelys are any more dangerous than roller blades or skateboards, but says kids should be careful.
