Smoking ban consultation

The Minister for the Department of Local Government and the Environment wants to hear the views of businesses and individuals around the Island ahead of next year's proposed ban on smoking in enclosed public places.

The Island is due to implement the changes next March. Scotland and Ireland have already implemented a smoking ban, and England and Wales are set to follow this July.

DoLGE Minister John Shimmin (pictured) admits it's likely the Island will follow suit, but he would still like to hear from interested parties:
