Speed camera attacked again

by isleofman.com 31st January 2007
The traffic monitoring camera at Ballaugh bridge has been targeted by vandals for a second time.

Police are investigating after it was attacked last night, although the Manx force hasn’t yet released details.

It’s not known how much damage the camera has suffered or whether it is still operational.

The camera, which monitors safety and could lead to drivers’ details being passed to police, was set alight in May last year.

It was repaired and turned back on in November.
