Peel youth election

Peel Youth Centre's junior members have a chance to shape their own destiny this evening when they elect a committee of their peers.

The five person group, chosen from thirteen candidates, will have responsibility for deciding how funds are used within the centre and what trips they go on.

Junior members will cast their votes in a proper booth and the proceedings will be overseen by Peel MHK Tim Crookall.

Youth Worker Katy Watt says the election has provoked great interest among the children:
