It has emerged that at least ?60,000 would be needed to keep the Manx workshop for the physically disabled open.

The charity, which provides work and therapeutic support for the disabled, has been receiving ?84,000 a year from the Department of Health, as well as additional finance from the Department of Trade and Industry.

DTI Minister, David Cretney, (pictured) says he is determined to ensure that workshop facilities for the disabled continue.
