There are still two vacant seats on the Legislative Council.

In order to be successful the potential MLC would have needed 13 votes.

Charles Cain received six votes, Alan Crowe received 10, John Lightfoot received three votes, Peter Kelly got five and Leonard Singer also received five.

There were three spoilt papers.

Fresh nominations must be in by 5pm this Friday. [FEB 2nd]
