Crellin bailed on assault charge

A man charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm has appeared before Deemster Doyle at General Jail.

27 year old Christopher George Crellin of Watterson Close, Douglas, denied the grievous assault on Richard John George Whittaker but admitted causing actual bodily harm.

The offence was committed at Guys and Dolls on July 16th last year.

Linda Watt, prosecuting, said the pleas were accepted by the prosecution and the defendant was bailed for sentence on March 14th.
