Sharon Roberts become Law Society President

The Isle of Man Law Society has its first women President in nearly 150 years of existence.

Sharon Roberts( pictured centre) has taken over from Jeremy Callin in the Society's top role.
She was previously VIce President. She will hold the position for two years.

She says the Society is fiercely proud of the independence of the Manx legal system and protects it staunchly. "We are the only profession in the Island in that position", she adds, " and Its a marvellous thing".
