Shell Scheme 2007

The Department of Trade and Industry has launched its annual scheme which aims to give Manx students experience in the working world.

The Shell Technology Enterprise Programme, jointly run by the government and the oil giant, supports local students and employers.

It achieves this by placing suitable candidates in a specific organisation to work on a defined project during their summer break.

DTI Minister David Cretney says the scheme benefits Manx students in a number of ways:
