Holocaust Memorial Service

by isleofman.com 27th January 2007
The Isle of Man's 2007 National Holocaust Memorial Service will be held at St George's Church in Douglas this afternoon (Sunday).

The annual event was first held in 2001, and is run in line with similar commemorations in the United Kingdom.

Holocaust Memorial Day is a time to remember the victims of Nazi persecution, including the six million jews who died in the concentration camps.

The service will be held at three o'clock.
