Scouts centenary

There'll be a distinguished Isle of Man presence at an upcoming centenary celebration for the Scouts in Britain.

Victor Kneale, who's served the Isle of Man Scout Association for over 80 years, will attend an event on Brownsea Island near Poole in Dorset, with a limited number of dignitaries.

Brownsea was the site of organisation founder Robert Baden Powell's experimental camp 100 years ago.

Isle of Man Scout Association Chairman, Peter Kelly, says Mr Kneale's contribution both before and after World War Two has been remarkable:
