Valentine's road safety

The Road Safety Unit is advising motorists to avoid heartbreak this Valentine's Day.

Today (Thursday) sees the launch of it's latest campaign 'safe drivers think of others', aimed at young male drivers.

It involves a radio advert, posters and the distribution of flyers, which will be given out by around 30 card shops around the island with Valentine's cards.

Transport Minister, David Anderson, says he hopes images of flowers next to headstones and a heartbeat monitor will get the message home to the target audience:
