New ways to generate power

Micro generation is the way forward for domestic power supplies.

Speaking ahead of the third annual energy efficiency exhibition at the Villa Marina next month, Chief Executive of the Department of Trade and Industry Chris Corlett says he believes that whilst home-based wind turbines and solar panels are still relatively unusual . . this will change in the next few years

The exhibition will run from 19th to the 21st of February, and offers practical advice on how to generate and conserve energy.

Mr Corlett says he believes green energy is a rapidly growing market.
