Head pays tribute to Danny Boyd

The head teacher of Ramsey Grammar School (pictured) has paid tribute to a student who lost his life following a car accident at the weekend.Danny Boyd died in hospital in Manchester from severe head injuries he suffered in an accident on the Jurby Road on Sunday. David Trace says Danny was a conscientious and popular student who was a likeable member of his form. He was always smartly dressed and well-mannered with a good sense of humour, and enjoyed spending time with his friends at schoolHe goes on to say that Danny had a strong sense of right and wrong and could often be found supporting weaker students and standing up for them.He was due to take GCSE exams this summer.Mr Trace says he had a bright future ahead of him, and the tragic death has left the school community deeply shocked and in mourning. He will be deeply missed by his many friends.
