No nursing home evictions

by isleofman.com 23rd January 2007
There's some comfort today for residents of nursing homes who can't afford to pay all their fees.

Speaking in the House of Keys this morning, Chief Minister Tony Brown said there would be no evictions in the next two months

Mr Brown was answering a question from Onchan MHK Peter Karran regarding additional charges for those in nursing homes, and what Mr Karran called a "crisis for this section of the community."
