Boundaries review

The Isle of Man's constituency boundaries may look different by the next general election.

That may be several years away - but the work of the Boundary Review Committee goes on.

It is due to report to Tynwald later this year on re-drawing some constituency boundaries.

Any changes would reflect changes in population around the Island.

The Review has also considered whether multi-member constutiences are a good thing for the Island.

Local authorities have given their views. Ramsey Commissioner Richard Radcliffe says they've stressed the need for boundaries to reflect communities:
