Chief Minister praises hotel

The Chief Minister has praised the investment in the Island’s first airport hotel.

Tony Brown officially opened the 34 bedroom Sefton Express, situated opposite Ronaldsway Airport and part of the Sefton Group.

There are already proposals to extend it to 60 bedrooms, and add a restaurant, conference room and fitness facilities.

In his speech, Mr Brown reflected on how the tourist industry could benefit from the development (audio file attached):
