Children's conference next month

Parents in the Isle of Man are coming together to help shape the strategies that will affect their children.

A conference is being held early next month which will focus on the provision of facilities for youngsters up to the age of seven.

It's a joint initiative involving the Department of Education, the DHSS and the Children's Centre.

It's expected 300 people will attend the two sessions on February 5, and Senior Education Adviser, Stuart Dobson, says it's likely to be quite an eye opener:
