by isleofman.com 17th January 2007
There's been a serious road traffic accident in Ramsey this morning. (Wednesday)

Police have closed Stanley Mount West, The Crescent and Beaumont Road while they deal with the incident, which is understood to involve a refuse wagon colliding with a building.

Emergency services are at the scene, as are engineers from the Manx Electricity Authority and Manx Gas.

No details have been released about any injuries, and it's not known how long the roads will remain closed.

Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and take alternative routes.
