Transport watchdog's first meeting

Having a transport watchdog on the Island can get passengers' voices heard and make a difference to our bus, boat and plane services.

So says Roger Tomlinson of the Positive Action Group, which has organised a public meeting at the Empress Hotel this evening.

The PAG believes passengers should have a say in the way transport services are provided on the Island and hopes the meeting is the first step to forming an organisation.

Mr Tomlinson says the idea is to give the Manx public strength in numbers (audio file attached):
